JANAKPURDHAM: The Madhes Province Government has announced an additional public holiday, updating the list previously published in the provincial gazette.
According to a notice issued by Under-Secretary Ganesh Nayak of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communications, and Law, the province will observe a public holiday on Tuesday, May 6, in celebration of Janaki Nawami (Sita Jayanti).
Another holiday has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, on the occasion of Kabir Das Jayanti.
The updated list adds to the earlier gazette notification published on April 4.
