HoR: Discussion on govt’s Policies and Programs begins today



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is taking place today (Monday) at 11 AM at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

The meeting will initiate discussions on the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/083, which were presented last week, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

As per the agenda, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to table a proposal to begin deliberations on the annual policies and programs of the Government of Nepal, delivered by President Ram Chandra Poudel during the joint session of both Houses of Parliament last week.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, amendments proposed by lawmakers to the government’s annual policies and programs will also be presented and discussed during the session following the Prime Minister’s address.
