Water flow at Koshi Barrage rises to nearly 98,000 cusecs



KATHMANDU: The water flow through the Koshi Barrage has continued to rise following incessant rainfall.

According to the latest measurement, the barrage recorded a discharge of 97,855 cusecs of water, which officials have categorized as “above normal.”

Authorities have urged residents and settlements downstream to exercise caution as rainfall since yesterday has increased water levels in rivers and streams across the region.
