Squatter settlements along Bagmati inundated, Army mobilized for evacuation



KATHMANDU: Continuous rainfall has triggered flooding in several parts of Kathmandu, leaving squatter settlements along the Bagmati River submerged.

Authorities have mobilized the Nepal Army to evacuate residents from the affected settlements.

Soldiers have been deployed to each household in the inundated areas, assisting families in moving out and helping them relocate their belongings to safer places.
