Grade 12 results published, 61.17% of students passed

KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has published the results of Grade 12. The decision to publish the results was made during a board meeting held on Monday evening.

Prior to the official announcement, the board had conducted a demo display of the results on Sunday.

According to the academic calendar, the results were originally scheduled to be published by Shrawan 15. However, a 29-day teachers’ protest starting from Chaitra 20 delayed the result publication.

A total of 511,525 students participated in the exams. This year, 61.17% of students passed the exams, while 38.83% received non-graded (NG) results.

The NEB also informed that the grade improvement exams will be held on Bhadra 28 and 29 (September 13 and 14, 2025).

The results of this year’s Grade 12 examinations have improved by 9 percent compared to last year, according to the National Examination Board (NEB).
