Man found dead after woman’s death in Pingalasthan hotel

KATHMANDU: A man who was last seen with Sushmita Khadka, found dead in Bagmati Hotel, Pingalasthan, has also been discovered deceased.

Dev Bahadur Thapa, a 23-year-old from Okhaldhunga, was found hanging in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-3, Sisneri, Okhaldhunga, according to DSP Krishna Khadka.

Sushmita Khadka, 22, a resident of Kageshwori, Kathmandu, was discovered dead in the hotel room.

Following her death, Thapa had been reported missing, prompting a police search that ended with the discovery of his body on Saturday.

The investigation into the case is ongoing.
