Policies and Programs focused on socioeconomic transformation: Minister Singh

LALITPUR: Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh has stated that the government’s newly announced policies and programs are aimed at driving socioeconomic transformation across the country.

Speaking at the 11th establishment day of Syasya Samaj Yala in Lalitpur today, DPM Singh said the policies and programs introduced for the upcoming fiscal year are aligned with the implementation of the constitution and fulfilling the aspirations of the people.

“The current government was formed to ensure political stability and improve people’s livelihoods,” he said. “We must not forget the rights we have secured through long and arduous struggle.”

He also acknowledged the positive role of Syasya Samaj Yala in fostering a cohesive society. Singh noted that despite Nepal’s rich linguistic diversity, communities have developed shared values and mutual respect.

“Our diversity is our strength, and it continues to promote unity and social harmony,” he added.
