Human wildlife conflict awareness campaign launched in Banke and Bardiya

KATHMANDU: An awareness campaign has been launched to ensure the safety of locals affected by wildlife in Banke and Bardiya National Parks.

The campaign is being implemented in Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-2 near Banke National Park and Madhuban Municipality-2 near Bardiya National Park.

Tula Adhikari, Executive Director of Community Communication Abhinaya Nepal, shared that the campaign will run for 10 months.

As part of the initiative, school students will receive practical education on how to reduce human-wildlife conflict and ways to protect the environment and wildlife habitats.
