Bhatbhateni guard awarded for bravery during Tinkune protest

KATHMANDU: Bhatbhateni Supermarket’s Koteshwor branch has honored security guard Dul Prasad Parajuli for his heroic actions during a recent incident.

During a special ceremony today, Min Bahadur Gurung, the operator of Bhatbhateni, presented Parajuli with an award of Rs 501,111 along with five grade promotions.

The recognition comes after Parajuli’s brave intervention on March 28, when he successfully thwarted a group of protesters attempting to loot the Koteshwor branch amid the royalist movement.

His quick thinking and determination prevented significant damage, earning him praise for his commitment to the safety and security of the supermarket.
