NC objects recommendation of passport suspension of former PM, Minister, home ministry officials

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has objected to the suspension of passports of five individuals, including former Prime Minister and Home Minister of the previous government.

NC chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, issuing a press release today drew the interim government’s attention to not encouraging impunity and not engaging in retaliatory politics against political parties.

Following the Gen-Z protests taken place on September 8 and 9, the probe commission formed by the government, had recommended to impose travel ban to former PM, Home Minister and other three home Ministry high officials.
