House of Representatives meeting to start late following Deepak Bohara’s death

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives, which was scheduled for 11 am today, has been postponed following the news of the demise of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) MP Deepak Bohara.

Although Speaker Devraj Ghimire arrived at the meeting hall, proceedings were delayed as parliament awaited official confirmation of Bohara’s passing.

It is customary for the Speaker to be present in the meeting room before the bell rings, but the session was put on hold to accommodate the formalities.

Once the necessary procedures are completed, the House meeting will resume briefly to pass a condolence motion in honor of the late MP before being adjourned for the day.
