RPP MP Deepak Bohara passes away



KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) senior leader and former minister, Deepak Bohara, has passed away.

He died while undergoing treatment at Om Hospital in Kathmandu, according to his personal secretary, Taramani Chand.

Bohara was elected as a Member of Parliament from Rupandehi in the most recent federal election.

He secured a victory in Rupandehi Constituency No. 1, defeating Nepali Congress candidate and then Home Minister, Bal Krishna Khand, in the 2079 BS election.
