Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration tasked with Pathibhara cable car issue



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has assigned the responsibility of coordinating efforts to resolve issues surrounding the construction of a cable car in the Pathibhara area of Taplejung to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

In a statement issued by Section Officer Rishikesh Khatiwada, the Home Ministry stated that the regulation of cable cars falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, prompting the decision.

The Home Ministry has urged the concerned ministry to take immediate steps to address the issues, considering local concerns and coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate a solution.
