NA soldier dies in road accident



CHITWAN: A Nepal Army personnel died when a motorcycle and a car collided at Pokhara Bus Park, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1.

The deceased has been identified as Nigam Nepali Sarki, a 27-year-old soldier working in Nepali Army Disaster Management Battalion N0-2, Rasauli.

He is a permanent resident of Bhanu Municipality-12, Tanahu district.

According to District Police Office spokesperson Bheshraj Rijal, 26-year-old Dinesh Thapa of Bandipur Rural Municipality-3, working in the same battalion, was seriously injured in the incident.

The accident took place when a car on the way to Ramnagar from the bus park hit their motorcycle coming from the opposite direction last night.

Both the injured in the accident were being treated at Chitawan Medical College. Sarki died during treatment.
