Sanfe-Martadi highway obstructed

BAJURA: The Sanfe-Martadi highway has been blocked due to a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall.

The road was blocked after a landslide in Nunepani area in Badimalika Municipality-6.

Police Inspector Rabindra Singh Karki said that efforts are ongoing to clear the debris.

Currently, a team of technical manpower along with equipment is deployed from the Sanfe Road Division Office to resume the traffic.

As the highway was blocked, long and short-distance vehicles and cargo vehicles have been stranded.
