Police raid in Birgunj nets two Chinese nationals



BIRGUNJ: Police have apprehended two Chinese nationals following a raid on a residence situated in Birgunj Metropolitan City-15.

During the operation on Saturday, police confiscated numerous computers, laptops, electronic devices, and mobile phones from the premises where the Chinese individuals were taken into custody.

Subsequently, both the detainees and the seized items have been transferred to the District Police Office for further investigation.

Authorities in Parsa suspect that the arrested individuals may be involved in perpetrating scams through social media platforms.

However, specific details regarding their activities have not been disclosed to the public.

SP Kumod Dhungel, the Chief of Parsa Police, announced plans to conduct a press conference today to provide additional information concerning the incident.
