Update: Four killed in Surkhet jeep accident



SURKHET: Four people have died in a jeep accident in Surkhet.

Two individuals were pronounced dead on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries at the provincial hospital.

The accident occurred at 2 am today when a Bolero Jeep (Bhe. 1 Cha 2560) traveling from Surkhet to Kalikot veered off the road near Ratanagala in Birendranagar, along the Surkhet-Dailekh road section.

According to the District Traffic Police Office, Surkhet, two of the victims’ bodies were found trapped in a tree.

The identities of the deceased have not yet been confirmed.

The police reported that the jeep fell approximately one hundred meters from the road.

There were five passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
