KATHMANDU: Police arrested 11 individuals, including 36-year-old Leela Dangi from Rolpa, for engaging in gambling at Hotel Vienna at Jyatha last night.
Acting on intelligence that Dangi was involved in gambling within room number 612 of the hotel, a police team dispatched from the District Police Complex Kathmandu and Lainchaur Police Circle detained them.
The arrested individuals were found in possession of a substantial amount, totaling Rs. 13,62,500 in cash, along with four gambling books.
Authorities are currently conducting thorough investigations into the matter.
