ICC T20: Nepal to field first after England wins toss



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on England in their opening match of the ICC T20 World Cup on Sunday at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India.

England captain Harry Brook won the toss and elected to bat first, meaning Nepal will start the game in the field.

Nepal’s playing XI includes Kushal Bhurtel, Asif Sheikh, Rohit Paudel, Dipendra Singh Airee, Arif Sheikh, Lokesh Bam, Gulshan Jha, Karan KC, Sher Malla, Nandan Yadav, and Sandeep Lamichhane.

Nepal is in Group C of the World Cup, alongside two-time champions West Indies, former champions England, Scotland, and Italy. The match marks Nepal’s first appearance in the tournament against England.
