Unified Socialist holding Central Committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: The Unified Socialist party is holding its Central Committee meeting today (Thursday).

Party Vice Chair Jagannath Khatiwada said that a meeting with central committee members will take place at 11 a.m. to discuss the construction of the party’s central structure and address various issues.

Khatiwada said that responsibilities for some leaders might be adjusted based on discussions regarding the formation of Standing Committee and Secretariat, considering factors such as their contributions and performance.

The party’s Central Committee, which comprises 344 members, has been instructed to attend the meeting mandatorily.

It is expected that leaders not elected as central officials will be allocated roles within departments and committees.
