DANG: Only one student passed the Secondary Education Exam (SEE) from Rajpur Rural Municipality in the Dang district.

Out of 250 students from eight secondary schools who appeared for the SEE, only one managed to pass. The SEE is a nationwide examination held after Grade 10.

Vice Chair of the rural municipality, Dhanpati Devi Yadav, informed that Gehendra Yadav, a student from Sadharan Namuna Secondary School, was the sole passer.

He secured a B+ grade.

A total of 85 students from his school took the exam.

The breakdown of students from other schools who took the SEE is as follows:

Janajyoti Secondary School of Bela: 56 students

Shankar Secondary School of Khardariya: 45 students

Dulaiya Secondary School: 9 students

Balkalyan Secondary School of Khangranaka: 10 students

Sikta Secondary School: 30 students

Ganurishankar Secondary School of Bhaisahina: 9 students

Shivabhakta Secondary School: 6 students

Unfortunately, none of these students passed the exam.

Vice Chair Yadav expressed her disappointment with the results, despite significant investments in education.

“We invested much in education, but failed to yield the expected result,” she admitted.

All the aforementioned schools are community schools.

In contrast, 13 out of 350 students who appeared for the SEE from the neighboring Banglachuli Rural Municipality passed the exam.
