KATHMANDU: Three Nepali students have lost their lives in Australia over the past week.
Two of them died while fishing at Kurnell Beach in Sydney, according to Australian police.
The full details of the deceased have yet to be disclosed.
Binod Kuwar, Coordinator of NRN New South Wales, stated that the students drowned after being caught by waves, likely due to neglecting safety measures.
They had arrived in Sydney three years ago to pursue further studies.
Australian police report that more than 10 deaths occur annually in the area due to fishing-related incidents.
Additionally, another Nepali student died in Durbin after falling from a 10-story building.
