Ireland Wolves sets 223-run target for Nepal ‘A’ in T20 opener



KATHMANDU: In the opening T20 match between Ireland Wolves and Nepal ‘A’, Ireland Wolves have set a challenging target of 223 runs.

Nepal ‘A’, having won the toss, elected to bowl first against Ireland Wolves at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

Kamal Singh Airee was the most successful bowler for Nepal, claiming three wickets, while Sagar Dhakal and Aarif Sheikh each took one wicket.

Batting first, Ireland Wolves posted a formidable total of 222 runs, losing five wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Peter Joseph Moor top-scored with 49 runs, supported by Cade Carmichael and Neil Alan Rock, who contributed 38 runs each.

Stephen Thomas Doheny also made a valuable contribution with 34 runs.
