DHANUSHA: Madhesh Province Chief Minister Satish Kumar Singh has affirmed that the provincial government is committed to resolving the challenges faced by industrialists.
In his address at the inauguration of the 57th Annual General Meeting of the Janakpurdham Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chief Minister Singh acknowledged the difficulties entrepreneurs face, including issues related to importing goods from India.
He highlighted problems with taxation and the shortage of skilled personnel in customs offices, which have compounded these challenges.
The Chief Minister also outlined plans for job creation in the agriculture sector, particularly in Dhanusha and Siraha along the Kamala River.
He urged industrialists to ensure that local residents are employed in industries established in the Madhesh region.
“Local employment should be a priority in business operations and industry,” Chief Minister Singh emphasized.
He reassured that the provincial government is supportive of the rights and interests of industrialists and expressed the need for stakeholder involvement in policy-making.
