Landslide blocks Kalikot section of Karnali Corridor



SURKHET: The Surkhet-Jumla road under the Karnali Corridor has been blocked by a landslide.

The landslide triggered by heavy rainfall has blocked the road section location in Nagma of Tilagufa Municipality-1.

Nagma area on the border of Jumla and Kalikot is the main point of entry to Surkhet, Jumla, Mugu and Humla.

Kalikot police chief Arjun KC said that the traffic service has been disrupted since the morning due to the landslide.

Efforts are underway to clear the road for traffic as soon as possible.
