LAMJUNG: The Dumre-Besisahar-Chame road has been blocked due to a landslide triggered by incessant rain since last night.

The road has been blocked by landslides at various places.

The road has been blocked in Benisahar Municipality-1 Dalal towards Tanahun and Kharkhere Bhir in the same municipality-6 towards Manang, said Thaneshwar Chapai, Information Officer of the District Police Office.

Landslides continue to take place.

As the road was blocked, people travelling to Manang from Besisahar and going to Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan and other places via Tanahun and traveling to and from Besisahar remain stranded.
