Budget 2080-81: Rs 8.39 billion allocated for Midday Meal Program

KATHMANDU: The budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2081-82 has allocated Rs 8.39 billion to continue the Midday Meal Program.

Finance Minister Barshaman Pun presented the budget for the upcoming fiscal year in the Federal Parliament, allocating Rs 8.39 billion for the Midday Meal Program.

In the current fiscal year, Rs 8.45 billion has been allocated for the program.

The budget presented by former Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat also continued funding for the Midday Meal Program.
