Nepal and Ireland ‘A’ to clash in T20 Series kickoff today



KATHMANDU: Nepal ‘A’ gears up to face off against Ireland ‘A’ in a T20 series commencing today.

The opening match is scheduled to commence at 1 pm on Thursday at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

Under the leadership of Binod Bhandari, Nepal ‘A’ is poised to engage in a high-stakes three-match T20 and one-day series against Ireland ‘A’.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled the lineup for both the T20 and ODI encounters.

Today marks the inauguration of the T20 series, with Nepal ‘A’ taking on Ireland ‘A’ at TU Ground in Kirtipur.

The action continues with the second match on Friday and culminates with the final showdown on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the one-day series against Ireland ‘A’ is slated to kick off on April 3.

Having already contested a two-match T20I series against the national team, Ireland ‘A’ arrives with prior experience.

However, Nepal emerged victorious in both encounters, setting the stage for an exhilarating series ahead.
