T-20: Nepal taking on Netherlands in Triangular Series today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is gearing up to face the Netherlands in the second clash of the triangular T-20 series at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

The game is scheduled to kick off at 11:30 am today.

In the opening match of the series held on Tuesday, Nepal faced a setback, succumbing to a 20-run defeat against Namibia.

On the other hand, the Netherlands is entering the series with today’s match as their first encounter.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has unveiled the 18-member squad led by Rohit Paudel for this series.

The lineup includes key players such as Rohit Paudel (captain), Asif Seikh, Kushal Bhurtel, Kushal Malla, Dipendra Singh Airi, Lalit Rajbanshi, Karan KC, Gulshan Jha, Sompal Kami, Pratish JC, Sandeep Zora, Binod Bhandari, Bivek Yadav, Anil Shah, Rashid Khan, Sagar Dhakal, Arif Seikh, and Abinash Bohora.

In terms of ICC T20 rankings among the participating countries, Namibia currently holds the top spot, securing the 11th position.

The Netherlands follows closely at 15th place, while Nepal occupies the 16th spot in the rankings.
