Police seize 34 tolas of gold and 10.5 kg of silver in Banke



BANKE: Police have seized a substantial quantity of gold and silver in Banke.

Banke police arrested several individuals in possession of 34 tolas of gold and 10.5 kg of silver on Monday afternoon.

Police Chief SP Tul Bahadur Karki said that the arrested individuals will be made public today following a press conference.

Police said that the arrests were made based on a tip-off.

Police added that the arrested individuals claimed to have obtained the gold and silver from a place called ‘Sunarmandali’.
