CPN (US) to feature 299 central members and 19 office bearers

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to expand its central committee to 299 members and its office bearers to 19, ahead of its convention scheduled for June 30 to July 4.

The decision was made during a party meeting held at Alok Nagar on Thursday.

The party has introduced new positions, including “dignified leader” and “senior vice chairman.”

Senior leader Jhalanath Khanal, Secretary General Ghanashyam Bhusal, and current Chair Madhav Nepal are all in the race for the top post of the party.
