Bajhang-1 by-election sees 40% voter turnout so far



KATHMANDU: As of 2:30 pm, 40% of the votes have been cast in the Bajhang-1 by-election, according to the District Election Office.

The process is experiencing delays due to geographical difficulties.

The constituency, which boasts a total of 61,784 voters, saw a 53% voter turnout in the 2079 BS election.

However, this time, the turnout is projected to surpass 55%.
