MYAGDI: A drone has been used to transport daily essentials weighing less than five kilogrammes to Mohare Danda, the tourism spot of Annapurna rural municipality in Myagdi district.
Daily essentials were transported at Mohare Danda from Nagi, Annapurna rural municipality-8 using drone, said Chairperson of the rural municipality, Bharat Kumar Pun. The drone was developed by the National Innovation Centre (NIC).
A team of the NIC on Friday and Saturday conducted test by sending goods to Mohare Danda from Nagi, he added, sharing that drones are found useful to drop medicines and daily essentials at hilly and disaster-hit areas.
