Car buried in landslide on Prithvi highway; four injured



KATHMANDU: A car was buried in a dry landslide on Thursday in Galchi Rural Municipality-4, Chiraudi, Dhading, along the Prithvi Highway.

The vehicle, identified by the registration number Ga 2 Cha 7885, was traveling from Gajuri to Kathmandu when the landslide struck.

According to the Gajuri area police office, four individuals inside the car sustained injuries in the incident.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilli Narayan Pandey reported that the injured are currently receiving treatment at Baireni Hospital.

As a result of the landslide, the Prithvi Highway has been blocked. Authorities are actively working to clear the debris, with JCB machinery deployed to restore traffic in the area.
