Collateral-free loans for those with foreign work permits



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced a new provision to offer collateral-free loans to individuals who have obtained work permits for foreign employment.

In the monetary policy unveiled for the fiscal year 2081/82, Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari stated that the bank has made necessary arrangements to provide these loans based on the assurance that remittances will be sent to the borrowers’ bank accounts.

The policy was officially released by the NRB on Friday.
