Sudden road crack in busy New Baneshwor area causes alarm among passengers



KATHMANDU: Panic ensued among passengers and pedestrians alike as a public bus became stranded on a busy road in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, on Friday, owing to an unexpected crack in the pavement.

Reports indicate that bus Ba 3 Kha, 3662, en route from Baneshwar to Ratnapark, encountered difficulties due to the abrupt appearance of a crack in the road.

Following the bus’s immobilization, alarmed passengers quickly disembarked.

This incident has sparked concerns regarding the quality of road construction in the capital city.
