KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of westerly and local winds across Nepal.
Partly cloudy skies have dominated the hilly regions, with the remaining areas experiencing mostly clear conditions.
Scattered to light rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, has been observed in select locations within the hilly areas of Gandaki Province, according to the Division.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to be clear in the remaining hilly areas of the country.
There’s a likelihood of light rain, thunder, and lightning in isolated spots in Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and the hilly regions of Sudurpaschim Province.
Some high hilly and Himalayan areas of Gandaki province may witness light snowfall, the Division said.
In addition, there’s a possibility of storms in certain areas of Lumbini province and parts of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, skies are expected to remain clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali Pradesh, with the rest of the country experiencing clear conditions.
