International Balloon Festival kicks off in Pokhara (Pictures)



KATHMANDU: The International Balloon Festival has officially begun today in Pokhara.

Representatives from various countries, including the United States, Spain, Lithuania, Thailand, and Vietnam, are participating in the event.

Organizers believe the festival will not only attract domestic visitors but also draw foreign tourists, contributing to Nepal’s economy.

The first day of the nine-day festival saw 13 balloons soaring in the skies of Pokhara today.
