Kaski Court extends Rabi’s custody by another 15 days

POKHARA: The Kaski District Court has extended the remand for investigation of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane by another 15 days.

The bench, led by Judge Bhimlal Belbase, approved the continuation of Lamichhane’s custody for an additional 15 days to facilitate the ongoing investigation.

Lamichhane was brought before the district court today after the 13-day remand expired.

He was initially arrested from Kathmandu in connection with a cooperative fraud investigation.

He is currently under investigation for charges related to cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering.

Lamichhane is accused of embezzling funds from Pokhara’s Surya Darshan Cooperative and diverting the money for use in Kathmandu-based Gorkha Media Pvt. Ltd.
