NOC increases prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation Limited (NOC) has raised the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene following a new adjustment based on the purchase price from the Indian Oil Corporation.

Starting from midnight on Wednesday, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 2 per liter, while the prices of diesel and kerosene have each gone up by Rs 3 per liter.

The updated price for first-class petrol now stands at Rs 162.5 50 per liter, up from Rs 160.5.

Meanwhile, diesel and kerosene will now cost Rs 153.5 per liter, up from Rs 150.5 .

The decision to hike prices was made in light of the new purchase price of petroleum products received from Indian Oil Corporation, which saw an increase of Rs 2. 24 per liter for petrol and Rs 3.55 per liter for diesel.
