SAFF Championship: Bhutan thrashes Maldives 13-0 



KATHMANDU: Bhutan thrashed Maldives with a 13-0 victory in the SAFF Women’s Championship at Dasharath Stadium, Tripreshwar.

Bhutan’s Deki Lhazom led the charge with a double hat-trick, securing a commanding win.

With this result, Bhutan climbs to the top of Group B with 7 points from 3 matches, securing a spot in the semifinals.

Later today, Nepal will face Sri Lanka at 5:30 PM.

Nepal needs at least a draw to qualify for the semifinals, but to top the group, they must win by a 6-goal margin.
