KATHMANDU: Victims of cooperative fraud are set to relaunch protests in the capital starting Friday.

This marks the third time these victims have taken to the streets after the government failed to implement previously reached agreements.

According to Kushlav KC, Chairman of the Federation for Protection of Cooperative Depositors National Campaign, the protest will begin at 11 AM this morning at Maitighar in Kathmandu.

“We will hold protests, rallies, and hunger strikes,” stated Chairman KC.

Chairman KC previously undertook a three-week hunger strike, which ended in an agreement with the government. The protests will be held nationwide until the victims’ demands are addressed.
