Three killed in tragic road accident in Jhapa

KATHMANDU: A devastating road accident occurred in Shiva Shatakshi-8 of Jhapa district on Wednesday morning, claiming the lives of three individuals.

According to Krishna Kumar Chand, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Jhapa, the accident involved a collision between a motorcycle traveling from Surunga to Damak and a jeep traveling in the opposite direction along the East-West Highway section.

The victims, whose identities are yet to be determined, were pronounced dead upon arrival at B and C Medical College where they were rushed for treatment following the collision.

Authorities are investigating the incident to ascertain the cause and circumstances surrounding the tragic accident.
