Over Rs 280 million collected in PMDRF



KATHMANDU: Over Rs. 280 million has been collected in the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund (PMDRF) for the support of the quake survivors in Karnali Province.

An earthquake of 6.4 magnitude had jolted Jajarkot and its surrounding districts on November 3, 2023 leaving scores of casualties and fatalities.

As per the latest details unveiled by the Fund, it has collected over Rs. 280 million from various social organizations and individuals who had pledged support for the post-quake rescue, search and rehabilitation, and relief distribution operation to the survivors of the quake.

The government had urged individuals and agencies to contribute for the cause through one-door system.

Agencies and individuals can deposit relief in the Fund through account numbers in nine commercial banks.
