NCC elects Rajesh Kaji Shrestha its Advisory Council Chair

KATHMANDU: Rajesh Kaji Shrestha has been elected as the Chairman of the Advisory Council of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC).

Shrestha, who previously served as the NCC president, has been chosen as the chairman of the advisory council on Tuesday.

The council will provide recommendations for the institutional development and enhancement of business capabilities of the chamber.

The council includes other members from the chamber campaign such as Mahesh Kumar Agrawal, Surendrabir Malakar, and Suresh Kumar Basnet.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the Council shared that it will coordinate to further strengthen the coordination between the government and the private sector, expand international relations, and enhance the role of entrepreneurs and business rights, as well as to empower the private sector’s role.

Council Chair Shrestha has been actively involved in the chamber campaign for the past three decades.
