One killed, four injured in tractor accident in Sarlahi



SARLAHI: A person died while four others from a single family got injured in a tractor accident that occurred at Piprabhitta of Barahathawa municipality in Sarlahi district last night.

Raj Kumar Singh, 17, died after the incident occurred Monday night. Four others injured in the incident have been undergoing treatment at a local health facility, according to Dipak Shrestha, spokesperson at District Police Office, Sarlahi.

Meanwhile, a cyclist died and two others got injured in a road accident in Chitwan.

Cyclist Kumar Gurung, 60, from Ganeshsthan of Bharatpur metropolis was injured seriously when a motorcycle coming from opposite direction hit him.

He died while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College last night. Information to this was shared by Shreeram Bhandari, spokesperson at District Police Office, Chitwan.

Sudarshan Adhikari, 33, from Manahari rural municipality-3 of Makwanpur and Santosh Burlakoti, 49, from Basanta Chowk of Bharatpur-9 were injured in the accident.

They have been receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College. Adhikari was riding a motorcycle and Burlakoti was a pillion rider.
