Netherlands to face Namibia in crucial ICC CWC League 2 encounter today

KATHMANDU: In a highly anticipated match, the Netherlands is gearing up to take on Namibia in the ICC CWC League 2 fixture today.

The clash is scheduled to commence at 9:30 am at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

Namibia currently leads the points table in the tri-nations ODI series. After facing a setback against Netherlands in the opening match, the team rallied back to secure victories against Nepal in two consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Netherlands, after a recent defeat to Nepal, bounced back with a convincing win over Namibia in their previous encounter.

With eight teams vying for top honors in the League 2 games, only four will secure a coveted spot in the global qualifier for the ICC Men’s World Cup.

Nepal is slated to take on Netherlands in the final match of the series on Sunday, adding to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the tournament.
