KATHMANDU: In a thrilling finale to the three-day ODI series, Nepal A has posted a challenging target of 182 runs for Canada XI to chase down.

Taking to the field at the Mulpani International Cricket Ground, Canada XI won the toss and elected to bowl first, putting Nepal A into bat.

Despite a valiant effort from the Nepali batsmen, the team was restricted to a modest total of 182 runs in 46.6 overs.

Ashutosh Ghiraiya led the charge for Nepal A with a commendable knock of 28 runs, closely followed by Arjun Kumar and Basir Ahmed, who contributed 27 and 24 runs respectively.

Sandeep Jhora also played a crucial role, adding another 24 runs to the team’s total.

In response, Canada XI’s bowling attack, spearheaded by Dillon Heyliger and Harsh Thaker, proved effective, with each bowler claiming two wickets to halt Nepal A’s progress.

With both teams having secured one victory apiece in the previous two matches, the stage is set for an enthralling showdown as Canada XI prepares to chase down the target set by Nepal A.
