BP Highway closed for 7 hours overnight

KATHMANDU: The BP Highway, damaged by floods and landslides on September 27 and 28, will remain closed overnight for seven hours.

The Road Division Office in Bhaktapur announced that the Highway will be shut daily from 9 PM to 4 AM.

As of last night, traffic has been halted at Dhulikhel to Barkhekhola in Sindhuli.

The closure is necessary to repair diversions from Chowkidanda, Narke Bazaar, and Kaldhunga (Bhyakure Khola) to Mamtikhola, according to the Division.

The Road Division Office has issued a notice advising drivers to avoid using the highway during these hours until further notice.
