Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has unveiled the exchange rates for foreign currencies today (Sunday), showcasing a downward trend compared to the previous day’s trading.

The regulated rate for the Euro stands at 144 rupees 40 paise for buying and 145 rupees 05 for selling today, slightly lower than Friday’s rates of Rs 144.52 and Rs 145.17, respectively.

Likewise, the buying rate for one American dollar is fixed at 132 rupees 61 paisa, with a selling rate of 133 rupees 21 paisa.

This represents a slight dip from Friday’s rates of 132 rupees 70 paisa and 133 rupees 30 paisa for buying and selling, respectively.

The Qatari riyal sees a marginal decrease, with a buying rate of 36 rupees 38 paisa and a selling rate of 36 rupees 52 paisa, compared to Friday’s rates of 36 rupees 40 paise and 36 rupees 56 paise.

The Kuwaiti Dinar follows suit, with today’s buying rate at 430 rupees 80 paisa and the selling rate at 432 rupees 75 paisa, slightly down from Friday’s rates of 431 rupees 21 paisa and 433 rupees 16 paisa.

Bahrain Dinar sees a decrease as well, with a buying rate of 351 rupees 82 paisa and a selling rate of 353 rupees 41 paisa today, compared to Friday’s rates of 352 rupees 01 paisa and 353 rupees 60 paisa.

The British pound is also affected, with today’s rates at 168 rupees 22 paise for buying and 168 rupees 98 paise for selling, slightly lower than Friday’s rates of Rs 168.42 and Rs 169.18, respectively.

Likewise, the Australian dollar also experienced a dip, with a buying rate of 87 rupees 46 paisa and a selling rate of 87 rupees 85 paisa today, compared to Friday’s rates of 87 rupees 18 paise and 87 rupees 58 paisa.
